A panel of experts introduces the DataPortability movement and the issues related to online identity and personal data. Data Portability: the option to use your personal data between trusted applications and vendors over the Web. The project's volunteers have worked together to create the DataPortability Reference Design to document the best practices for integrating existing open standards and protocols for maximum interoperability. This should allow users to access their friends and media across all the applications, social networking sites and widgets that implement the design into their systems. BAIA continues in its tradition to high level panel discussion by introducing a panel of experts in Data Portability to our audience in Silicon Valley.
