 I've had a long history of insomnia because of bipolar disorder. As we can all see from TV, America has problems sleeping. There can be many reasons. Please keep us posted.
Is there a common theme among the people who harass you? Like do they tend to be younger? Or is it all ages? I'm really shocked that so many people would do this. Do you live in a big city or a small town?

 I wonder whether steadily exploring your dreams with your therapist, like you did, would help to accelerate the process of working through that stuff. But it could also be intense...maybe too intense sometimes. But maybe worth it sometimes.
I want to think of the right thing to say, but it all seems like a big pep talk. So I'll say it anyhow -- keep at it; keep up with the therapy; be cautious in relationships, but keep an open mind. Time is on your side.
Hang in there... be strong. It will get better. Keep at it.
