This is probably one of the easiest ways to help support a local charity. All you have to do is go out to eat. Over 130 participating restaurants have agreed to donate a portion of their proceeds to The Aliveness Project, a local nonprofit organization that provides on-site meals, food shelf & other supportive services for those living with HIV/AIDS and their families. All you have to do is eat at one of the participating restaurants on Thursday, April 24. Check out the website to see which meal times are offered at each of the restaurants. Each restaurant is offering between 15% - 100% of your bill to The Aliveness Project. Check out the links below for participating restaurants, and be sure to pass along this date to EVERYONE you know! Want to get more involved? We are also looking for 400 volunteer Ambassadors - an easy one-time commitment! Ambassadors work in pairs as representatives of The Aliveness Project at each of the participating restaurants during their meal times. Ambassadors welcome and thank diners, register diners for prize drawings/solicit additional donations, invite family and friends to pack the restaurant, and hand out "I Ate" stickers. If you are interested in being an Ambassador, please sign-up at http://www.aliveness.org/dol-volunteer.htm.

For the first time ever, Ginger Presley and the Aristocrats will be rocking your faces off under one roof!

This party will be formal, because seriously, who doesn't want to throw on some formal wear? As usual, we have plenty of room to crash.

Come join Dionne at her fabulous new pad for her birthday party Ping Pong Table! Liquor! Cake! Loads of Fun!

Join me to celebrate my official divorcedness! My divorce becomes final on the morning of November 9th, and I'd like to commemorate the closure of this chapter in my life by celebrating with friends. Bring your own beverages, and if you like, a snack to share. I won't be doing anything "wifely" on this day (like, y'know, cooking and cleaning), so I'm planning on feasting on snacks, and if people want to, going in on some pizzas. Note: For some reason, facebook wouldn't find "La Crosse, WI" as a city today...I live on the north side of La Crosse, NOT Onalaska!

Muskox and Isla Craig perform together and separately, with pseudo-minimalist semi-jazz and art-song/rock -out/psyche-out sweetness, respectively. The usual Muskox cast of Mike Smith, Jamie Drake, Handsome Mark Laver, and Matt Dunn will be augmented by the hot chops of one Ali Berkok. Thrills and roses, windmills and puppycats. PWYC

Come prep yourself for Thanksgiving with our generous selection of hot dishes and other cold-weather goodies. Bring booze or snacks to share (or not).

There will be singing, dancing, storytelling, food, drink, laughter, and of course the costume contest. Warning: You must be in costume, otherwise we will put you in one! Feel free to leave your corpse here. We have a whole house full of haunted rooms, trap doors, secret rooms, a large backyard, and a garage with shovels. We have plenty of spirits here, please bring something to mix with them . If you have a particular taste, there is a liquor store less than a block away. If you need directions give one of us a call, 612-817-1392 or 651-283-6525 We hope to see you then.

612 party, episode III! not only will the makeout room return, we'll have karaoke and a dance floor. everyone is invited to celebrate the awesomest city on earth.

Come and join Ginger Presley with special guest The Moon at JB's Speakeasy! We've been working on several new covers for your listening pleasure, and will be unveiling our third original song! The Moon will open the show and Ginger Presley will be on stage no later than midnight!

On Sunday, following the party. We are planning to relax by simply floating down the river for a few hours. We think it will be a good idea to bring coolers for water, and most likely things to nurse the hangovers. More information can be found at http://www.welchmillcanoeandtube.com/ Plan on bring $9 in cash for you tube, although I will find out if we can get a group rate.

We are very excited about our new home, and we would like to share our excitement with all of you. As usual, we will have food and drink, but feel free to bring something yourself. I'm not gonna do something cheesy like, "No presents, just your presence" I mean really, we don't want to deny you the fun of giving gifts! Since it is a decent drive for most of you, we have plenty of room for you to crash. Bring either a sleeping bag or an air mattress. Hell, we have a big back yard, bring a tent and camp out!
