This is where "I would like to serve humanity" got me. I still felt forced with getting into Medicine although no one really forced me. I thought it would make my parents happy, and it was known to be a noble profession (and it is). But to me, I had no choice, I don't know where else to go. I went with the flow. During the course, I didn't really do bad, I flunked exams every now and then (just like any other student, it wasn't easy), but I always managed to get to the next level, and it wasn't really like I was at the bottom. I guess, with a little luck, I did ok. By stepping into this institution, I was molding my future life.
