Jakarta  − 1 April, 1993

My dad had been living away from us for some time now. He was not only stationed in Indonesia, he travelled to Europe as well. But this summer, he took the whole family with him for an out-of-country vacation. Our first one. The Verastigue family went sight-seeing in Jakarta, and had a taste of what it's like living there. We also stopped over Singapore, a squeeky clean small country. This was also the time I discovered the amazing Lord of the Rings and Chronicles of Narnia. Both became my favorite books.
