My 1st Website − 13 May, 1999
I was introduced to the internet when I was in 10th grade. I embraced my netizenship. I started giving out my email address when more than half of my friends doesn't know yet what and how email works. But it was not until 4 years later than I started building my own space on the web (http://www.geocities.com/jadetv). Thanks to my sister, (who was at that time, beginning her love affair with the computer and web design), I learned the basics of HTML. I ended putting up a colorful vanity personal homepage that really looked like it was made my a kid from 4th grade. Nevertheless, I was proud of the fact that I can make one when no one in our class probably knows how HTML codes work. It was the beginning of my website building hobby.
Almost once a year I changed the looks of my baby, but the contents were same old. Actually, the contents were reduced to an "about me" page, a links page, and a guestbook. There's really nothing much to find in it but it's one definite place to find me in this big world wide web.
