Saw Rob Corddry tonight at 6th in the City -- hilarious! He did a show exploring how "The Daily Show" conducts interviews and makes the news funny.

He's got a great shtick going... somewhere between tough guy and idiot. And the little David Letterman-inspired tuft of hair on his forehead adds just the right touch of goofiness.

One of the best live standup shows I've ever seen... in a synagogue!

I love Corddry. Very cool that you saw him live. Pardon my ignorance, but where's 6th in the City?

Downtown Washington, DC. Near the Gallery Place/Chinatown area. I'd enver heard of it either before getting tickets. He blew us away, he was that funny. Corddry's tribute to himself on his last day at TDS was awesome.

Also going to see Mo Rocca, another former Daily Show correspondent, speak at the same venue in October. Woohoo!
