Grandma passed away  − 24 September, 2006

What a lady!  Her daughters were by her side and she was - and still is - loved!

I'm thankful she no longer suffers, and know full well that she and Grandpa will continue to watch over my wife and I.

Our next visit to the East Coast will be spent in celebration of their lives in Mount Vernon New York - having dinner and martinis at their favorite Italian restaurant and walking along with quaint neighborhood they lived in for 45 years.  It's how I'd like to remember them, and honor their continuing spirit and teachings.

If my wife and I can catch a good Jazz quartet in the area, that would be ideal.  I know Grandpa will pick up the string base, and Grandma will sing along!
