Blogging, dandelife style...  − 16 November, 2006

Now that I've moved my blogging routine to the dandelife service, I thought I'd explain some of the rather odd things that you'll see (assuming you visit my blog on a semi-regular basis).

The whole idea behind dandelife is to create the "story of your life", a-la a timeline. Those of you who have, ya know, met me know that I'm a big fan of timelines (or, in the super-snobby-educational parlance, synchrochronoptic tool). Since dandelife lets me tell stories from my past, you might (for instance) see a blog entry that talks about something from years ago.

Every time I "tell a story" via creating a blog entry, it's plotted on the timeline. That basically means that a very recent blog entry will be talking about the past. This allows me to share with you things from my past while you also see entries that talk about events that I've recently been part of.

It's all a part of the dandelife way and I hope you come to enjoy it. I'm looking forward to recording stories for posterity's sake

i have accounts on blogger, vox, twitter and myspace, but dandelife is the one app i use the most. for me i really enjoy the *life-blogging* vs *daily-blogging* because it allows me go back in time to blog about the good, bad, happy, sad times in my life. a digital remembrance of things past, so to speak. i *love* it!!!
