turned 30 in costa rica  − 1 May, 1994

i celebrated my 30th birthday in costa rica with a bunch of my friends from chicago.  we went mountain biking around arenal volcano, rafted the rio pacuare and relaxed in the thermal springs at el tabacon. it was an awesome time. i fell in love with the country and the people.
