Kindness 2: me, in the City  − 6 January, 2007

I went to a big city today, walked around for 3 hours. I liked: the Architecture. I didn't like: the creepy side streets. It was exactly my thing: to take a long bus ride to the tourist area. I also liked: the maps on all the bus stops. Pleasant accidental encounter: at breakfast, I accidentally spilled my coffee & a kind, helpful African-American woman lent me her tissue paper because I didn't have any in my handbag. Thank you very much for being so kind.

Kindness like that sometimes brings me to tears. I'm much more sentimental about good deeds than I am about sad things. Thanks for sharing. :-)
