I was so lucky this year to go back to Michigan (where my husband and I are both from) for Christmas. Of course it was warm (in the 40s) and not a single flake of snow, but it still feels like home. You know how some people say that going "home" doesn't feel like "home" anymore? Well sometimes it still does. It is so easy to go back to a place that reminds you of nothing but love. I am so lucky, because all of my memories are warm and fuzzy (of course there are a few exceptions). Perhaps my mind is too small to hold a lot of bad stuff too. Oh well, I like it.
