Our first trip to the Metroparks and the Chagrin Falls − 20 December, 2006
I think that it is pretty easy to forget how beautiful Ohio is, but the Metroparks always have a way of reminding me. This was Kara's first trip to the Metroparks, but she is definitely a fan. Isabelle also seemed to like it quite a bit. Then, of course, there is the infamous Chagrin Falls. There is nothing more quaint than sitting by the falls and just watching the water flow down the rocks. I hope we get to do it a lot.

Hey! That's where I grew up! Well not Chagrini Falls. But the greater Cleveland Metropolitan area. Cleveland Heights, to be more precise. As a kid we would get a trip to Forrest Hills on the East side of Cleveland. They had a pretty big nature reserve too. You might want to check that out. That's where learned about how owl's molt and eat. We inpspected deer poop, too. Fascinating stuff! Has the weather been warm in Cleveland this winter? I don't see any snow where there should be at least a foot of the stuff!
