We could have drowned! − 1 December, 1998
There were six of us that were best friends in High School. Three girls and three boys. We had very limited places to hang out. Let me just tell you that the town we are from just got a McDonald's last year! Three stop light kind of town. Anyway, back to the story, the six of us were all at the "lake" which was a place that we would all drive to and just sit and talk. It was winter in Michigan and the lake was frozen. Five of us, excluding Susie who was hurt, traveled out further, and further onto the ice. Kyle and I both agree that we were about about 100 feet and we heard the ice begin to crack. Without even looking up all five of sprinted to the edge where Susie was.
Now the funny part was that none of us looked around! All five best friends and it was a fend for youself kind of a thing!
Personally I don't know if you would want to be friends with us. Apparently we are the type that will throw you under a bus! Yowser.

Holy crap! Change the names and location and I could post this on my timeline. Didn't you just love growing up in a small town? (52 in my graduating class.) Not only did the whole town know when you took a leak... they knew what color it was and how long it took.
