Dad turns 5-0  − 30 September, 1997

It is hard to believe that over 10 years ago now my dad turned the big 5-0.  I remember being taken out of school and my parents and I (can't remember if grandma raisin was there or not) headed up to the U. P. of MI.  In care you don't now what U.P. stands for, it is the Upper Penninsula of Michigan. 

Those trips were always the best.  It was cold, the leaves were just changing and it was awesome.  This particular year dad wanted to go to rockway mountain drive (sorry if that name is made up.  It sounds right to me but it may not be) and have a heineken beer. 

Those trips with my parents may all blend together and get jumbled, but I will never forget how fun they were.
