Koday releases silent educational films that are extensively studied for educational potential  − 1 January, 1928

Ben D. Wood of Columbia University and Frank N. Freeman of the University of Chicago co-direct the experiment and had very positive findings about the effects of the new media. Though the study was criticized for unsound methods, it still helped inspire adoption of the silent film media for instructional uses.
