Publication of study showing film used with textbooks is more effective than books alone − 1 January, 1932
An early study by the Carnegie Foundation claiming that students learn more information and show a greater conceptual understanding when using film with textbooks than when using textbooks alone.
This could fairly be classified as one of the first media comparison studies in education.
