moved to sacramento − 1 January, 2000
i'm not quite sure how this happened but i ended up moving from seattle to sacramento. all i have to say is that i dearly missed all my friends in the pacific northwest.

I used to live in Sacramento and have nothing but bad memories of it and people who live there. I hope your experience is much better than mine was. Good advice: watch out for cops, they are brutal out there and pull you over for just about anything.

my memories are a mixed bag of both good and bad. although i made some cool friends, it never felt like *home* to me.

I hear you. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area now and it is much more of my *home*. People here are great and most importantly they all have jobs because the cost of living is so high so they all work and mind their own business.

what a coincidence i moved to the bay area too. i love living near a body of water. i just finished reading the story you wrote about your friend getting murdered. that's tragic. i'm familiarly with the south sac area, there are definitely some shady parts of town.

yeah thank you for reading it - I feel like the more people I share this tragic story with the longer Charles' memory will live on. He was such a wonderful person and not a day goes by that I don't feel a certain emptiness in my heart.

i live in the east bay near the bay bridge. i like it there because i can watch the sunset over the san francisco skyline. its quite beautiful.
