1st thing I noticed: It's cool that the Science Center School is right next door.
1st exhibit I saw: Air & space annex
I enjoyed the exhibits, and I liked having the young kids around, who were on their field trip. It was more exciting and awesome to them than to me, so it was a reminder to me to retain a sense of wonder about things. It's a pity that this tends to (or has to?) lessen as one becomes a grown-up.
The human genome - printed in a huge collection of hard-bound books - it felt very meaningful to me. I had to sit on one of the benches nearby and just looked at those volumes and volumes, and thought about it.

I love to have kids around. I have been fortunate to be subbing for preschool kids. It is amazing how simple and fun everything is. Nothing is complicated. I LOVE it! Why can't we be more like that. Darn.
