Sharing the Dandelife Love :-) − 13 February, 2007
Here are some unsolicited testimonials sent in by dandelife members. Makes me smile every time I read them.

i just wanted to thank you for creating such wonderful, cool and fun web app! i luv it. luv it luv it. for years i tried to get into blogging (ie 1990's)i've tried everything, blogger, greymatter, typepad, vox, myspace, etc...somehow for whatever reason whenever i tried to blog. i just couldn't get into it.
for me it almost felt like a homework assignment that i had to finish an hour before it was due. :-(
however with dandelife, i'll read a random story. it trigger's a memory. my neurons start firing-off. my synapses get excited. suddenly, i'm inspired to share my story, a story that had been archived in the dark, dust-bunny, filled recesses of my mind. its fantastically spontaneous and the rush of memories is so wonderful. i can go on and on... :-)
i love the collective social story telling aspect. i'm completely addicted.
a very thankful dandelifer!

Personally, I'm not really comfortable with the general idea of a blog--
I'm pretty private, and generally hesitant to share daily life stuff with
the entire world.
What's attractive about Dandelife (for me) is that I can look at it like
a blog-in-retrospect, and a medium to share all the ridiculous stories
that I find myself telling people over and over anyway. Weird work
experiences, concerts I went to, etc. It's unique in that regard.
Very cool, very interesting. You've put a lot of work into it, and it
shows.

Why do I use Dandelife? That's easy, I'm getting older and my children are growing up and leaving the nest sooner then I would like. I want my family to have some connection to each other and to us, hence my enjoyment with Dandelife. Your site provides a way to share the stories of my family and the adventures that make life worth living. The reality is that families don't always stay in touch, at least as much as we would like. However I can always count on my kids getting on the internet for one reason or another almost daily. My kids have my link on their favorites and they have
enjoyed the postings that I have so far completed. I look forward to my next day off and the opportunity to dig up old pictures and share forgotten memories with my family. Thank you for providing a place where one who trully believes in family can share and memories can be brought back to life. At least that is how I feel about it and in the end that's what really matters.
