Joined Dandelife − 20 February, 2007
Today I joined Dandelife. I found out about it on Wikipedia through their listing of social sites. So far it looks like an interesting place. This year is my "writing" year. I've always journaled but this year I'm determined to write a novel for the NaNoWriMo. I'm practicing daily, and this site will help me in that goal.

Welcome, Maria -- I am new here as well. I'm also an artist, except I'm a musician (and a middle school science teacher by day). I also found Dandelife through Wikipedia; it was an interesting concept, so I figured I'd try it. Like you I've always journaled, but it's generally more practical things like what I was doing musically--what songs I played, how I practiced, when I performed, ideas for songs and chords and melodies. And I also did something similar to NaNo called "FAWM" (February Album Writing Month). Hmm, that's a lot of coincidences -- guess you wouldn't happen to also watch the new Battlestar Galactica, would you ? ;-)

Welcome to you too, Bruce! Those are a lot fo coincidences... as to Battlestar Galactica, I have to say that I haven't been watching it. Except for Star Trek, I usually wait until a show is over and then watch it on DVD. I did that with Babylon 5 and Farscape, and I'm sure I'll do the same with Battlestar Galactica.
I haven't listened to your music yet. My computer at home works at "snail crawl" speed, so I will listen to it from work today. I read on the comments that it is Jazz. For the last year I've been going to a lot of Jazz concerts... another coincidence.
