Bringin on da Funk − 13 September, 2004
As I became more and more a bass player, I reached the point where having one voice wasn't enough. I'd gotten into funk and old-school R&B, and needed a heavier sound. My fretless bass had a very gentle, smooth voice; I needed something rowdy.
For this reason, on this date, I got a Fender P-Bass. Now I moved into new areas of slap bass and funk grooves.
