When you know − 15 February, 2007
Today Dave told me he loved me and I said it back. Yesterday he said it for the first time. He absolutely couldn't hold himself back from it. I didn't return the sentiment in the same fashion but he looked in my eyes and just knew. And today when he said it to me again, I said it back with more than just my eyes.
I can't tell you how many times I've been told by anyone that when "it" happens "you will just know." "It" being of course when you meet the love of your life and and you realize that your life never truly existed and never honestly was all it could be until right that moment when all of the realizations are there at your feet.
Everyone can say "I told you so" to me now. Because it's true... that you just know. Or much more that WE just know.
