Word on the street − 28 February, 2007
Today more of the world knows about our intentions of marriage.
This morning Dave attended one of his major meetings at work and his boss actually announced it, "Attention everyone! Dave is getting married!"
It was quite a shock to both Dave and me but it's very nice also because we're so completely happy about it and excited for it to happen. Tomorrow I get to make my first appearance as his fiancee and be introduced to a handful of folks at his job. X-) I'm all excited about it.
I can't even begin to imagine the questions that they all might throw out there. I'm sitting here now eating the "pretty mints" that I love that he brought to me the other day and preparing myself for the one question that I KNOW I will get about "the ring." Probably what I should be preparing myself more for is the reaction that I will get when I answer their question - "I'm kind of against diamonds and I don't want one."
Dave is the GREATEST best friend I could ever need or want so what use would a diamond be to me?
I'm so completely excited and happy today.

Thanks for the well wishes and for following along with our story! Joe and I surely are having a ball and can't even begin to imagine how much exciting and fun married life will be. :) We are very much looking forward to it and will most definitely add our wedding date to the line when it all happens. -Quynh

I know that pre-marriage I couldn't imagine that being married would be any different than being engaged/ dating....it is! It is just *better*. That is the only way to describe it. There is a deeper bond. Yeah!
