Special part of the Octopus  − 20 March, 2007

So last night I ate sushi by myself at a restaurant and it was very good. Tonight killed last night.

Went to a little place called Koba with only a sushi bar that seats eight. I was with Shuji my Japanese sales rep and told him to get us the works.

Ate for about two hours.

The urchin tastes much better here.

Highlight though was when the owner (also the sushi chef, whose name is Koba)  said to my friend, we have a surprise for you. Brought out an octopus they had just steamed, so it was piping hot. Downed some of that…then he put what looked like white balled up wasabi and said it was a “special” part of the octopus.

I ate it.

It was good.

It was octopus sperm.
