Isabelle's First Solid Food  − 27 March, 2007

Isabelle has been toying with the idea of eating "real people food" for a while now, but this was the first time we actually ground rice down, boiled it, and mixed it breast milk. It was a wonderful experience for everyone involved, even if Isabelle was a little cranky because it was getting near bedtime. I think this could be the start of something. I hope we are ready for it.
