I felt the sweat dripping down my back, the air was thick and filled with scents that only could be imagined.

"When I say so, grab my hand."

He pulled me through the crowd, each step closer to one of my favorite bands, until I within feet of the lead guitarist of Bayside. The lights were bright and mulit-coloured. The crowd was pushing and throbbing. And my heart just stopped. I lost myself in the moment.

Two or three drunk 25-30 year olds thrashed behind me, attempting to ruin my moment. I picked my elbow up and stuck it in one of their heads with force. I smelled the vodka on his breath as he charged at me.  I laughed as he pushed against me. I may have been small, but I could hold my own weight against him with ease.

An acoustic song rang out. "Don't Call Me Peanut", a song I didn't truely apperciate until played live.

Then came on the one song that won me over most. the very last song. "Devotion and Desire". I screamed the lyrics, throwing my fist into the air, giving it my all. every word pouring out. I sang until my throat was practically bleeding.

My life is music. I am totally okay with this.
