Dandelife is a Webby official honoree − 11 April, 2007
I have to admit that I paid for the chance. I thought Dandelife would be a good contender for the "social networking" category in this year's Webby's. It turns out I was not completely off-base. While we did not get the honor of being an Official Nominee, we did have the honor of being selected as an Official Honoree. Yeah, say that ten times fast.
Being an honoree is as glamorous as it sounds. It means that we are in the top 15 percent of people who nominated themselves for a category (or two or three). But, really, in this category, the company is glamorous. I feel honored, I do, to be mentioned in the same breath as linkedin, facebook, digg, stumbleupon, and vox.
But, wait, there's more! I got a framed certificate too! Can't wait for it to arrive! When it comes, I'll take a photo of it and post for you all to see as well. I have you to thank for it, after all!
