Neri − 26 December, 2000

There are two longtime companions of mine that I haven't mentioned on this blog yet. They are Neri and Nora, my two dogs. I'd like to introduce them now.
Neri and Nora are collies. Neri can actually introduce herself -- she keeps a blog:

Actually, it's ghost-written by my wife; Neri's pretty smart, but mostly uses her talents to figure out how to scam extra bits of food.
Neri was our first dog; this was the date we went down to south Florida to get her from a breeder. When she first came into our lives, she was the size of a loaf of bread. Today, she's around 75 lbs -- collies aren't exactly petite -- and is graceful, spunky, and beautiful.
Neri likes people, especially kids. She is incredibly gentle. I believe if you scroll down on the page you will see Neri playing with one of the neighborhood cats. She has even played with kittens -- an odd sight, a little 3 lb kitten being nuzzled by something more than 25 times its size.

Hm, I haven't gotten into the whole photo thing yet. I'll have to look into it. The deal with this post is I thought the link to her page was enough. Maybe not. She's cute enough for two or three pages, actually, so do we really want to go there? ;-)

OK, I finally got around to it. I've been on the internet so long that I really hate to cough up yet another username & password -- fortunately, Flickr was pretty simple. I have to give a shoutout to the folks who wrote jUploadr as well; I use Linux, and this program worked great.
