Ahh the Weekend  − 23 April, 2007

We had a wonderful weekend this weekend. It's odd though, because I couldn't tell you what it was in particular that made it that way. It's just her. She makes them wonderful. Now in that sentence I am not talking about weekends, I'm talking about every day that I spend with her. They are all wonderful.

I took her to my house today for a bath. Yep, just a bath, and she was sooo happy. I mean really really happy. I felt so good about it. That's so different. I don't do that normally. So I am there on the pot today, and a piece of paper falls off the roll. I would usually leave it there. (Yea, I am a bit of a pig...) But I thought, no She'll have to clean this later, and I picked it up. I don't think about people like that most of the time. She's making me a better man without asking me to change. She's making me a better man while asking me to stay the same. I am amazed. I am enthralled, I am knocked over, I am blown away, I am all things that a man can be when he is totally unpreparred for the love of his life and has her as often as he can be in the room with her. It's the most wonderful life that God could have given to me.
