Cat Shower  − 1 September, 2003

Mr. Trow, my cat, was on death row in Leavenworth, Kansas, in the summer of '03. He was rescued by the people running the shelter where he was staying when they "donated" him to Audio-Reader. It was their intention that he become A-R's second pet, since their other cat, Baehrcat, died a few years before. But Audio-Reader had grown significantly since then, and it wasn't practical for a cat to live there anymore.

So I took him. He's been living with me since then. But before I took him home, the staff and volunteers at Audio-Reader threw a cat shower, complete with gifts, food, and "Kitty Litter" cake. Delicious!
