12 days − 8 May, 2007
As of today we are twelve days away from my end date of this job! *Huzzah!*
It's an understatement to say it's had it's ups and downs. About a week or so ago I was a little worried because it was all starting to snowball itself downhill. All I was thinking was how long the few weeks left would be. Somehow it turned itself about and it's fine again. And I'm thinking about "The End" now and it's going to be really bittersweet.
For as much as this has been my job, it's actually been Dave's job very much too. When it first started it was a situation where we were always having to check to see if it was "okay" for him to be along. Now, it's completely expected. And actually, when he's not around, it's weird. Even my space anymore the other day was referred to as "Yours and Dave's room." It made me laugh a little and smile. Definitely we wouldn't have been able to tell anyone that it would have turned out this way when we were beginning it.
But here we are. And it's 12 days to the end. Or rather 12 days to our next beginning.
P.S. The "official date" has tentatively been discussed and possibly set - April 26, 2008! :)

Yeah! I am glad you have a date set even if it is tentative. New beginings everywhere!
