I was almost dead when cab hit my bike from rear while I was taking right turn to main road on my way to office.
Was pushed for long way from back and then I lost my balance over my bike. Fell down, closed my eyes and when I opened my eyes, I was under the cab between front and rear tyres. Cab was over me. Front tyre had passed over my helmet (I always wore it and it came to my resue). My breathe was halted. I had just lost my life.
Roommates came to my rescue. HE had just saved me.
Resumed after leave of 2 weeks on March 12. That was one of the worst nightmares of my life.

Holy Moly, Good thing you were protected. I had a close call with a car on my bike once when I was a teenager. Getting run over is definately one of my worse nightmares.

Yes, it is like this. And at that time, we feel the importance of following the traffic rules although I always abide by them :).
And yes, incidents like this remain always remain afresh in mind.
