I actually thought Kelly was high, not drunk. Kelly had just split from the ex and being the only single girl he knew, I thought I would be nice and invite him out to the Princess Pub with me and my best friend Jessica. Kelly's best friend Eric was in town so it was a perfect combo. Jess and I were sitting outside at the pub having a beer or cocktail as we're apt to do and Kelly and Eric come stubling in. They seemed very, very comfortable with each other and very giddy. I thought there behavior was a little strange since up until this point really the only time I ever saw of Kelly was at work. Turns out Eric and Kelly have known each other since babies practically (2 or 3 years old?) and are the best, best, best of friends. Kelly to this day will not tell me what he told Eric about me prior to showing up but I think his giddy behavior says it all - don't you?
Wasn't it just a month later that Kelly (out of the kindness of his heart and when you two were "just friends") took pictures of us at Balboa Park? If memory serves me, you were very adamant about the status of your relationship. But just as you say about Kel's "giddy behavior" saying it all - the looks and body language between you two said it all. Being your older sister, I can attest that I'd never seen it in you two and it was evident that you two would be together.
Actually, the photos were before we started dating. That much is certain. The reason I know that is that I was still too shy and awkward and thought if the photos didn't turn out right Steph would never date me.
