Headphones plugged in but... − 5 October, 2006
Often times I work at coffee shops and bookstores because I feed off of the energy of people around me and it drives me to work harder. But sometimes the noise is too much and a little too distracting, so I pull out my headphones and plug in. What's odd is many times I don't actually play any music, I just leave the headphones in as some sort of mental noise block to help me focus. I can't be the only one who does this, right?
