Life isn't perfect. No big lesson learned that it isn't tonight. But then I sit and think about it and then start to feel like actually it is. ESPECIALLY after tonight.
We have had disagreements before but never anything really heated before tonight. Everything is resolved now but to me that's what makes me feel like perhaps life IS a lot closer to perfect than not.
I'm a firm believer that you can never truly get angry and fired up with someone unless you really do have that much love for them in the first place. You absolutely cannot have one without the other. And for that reason I know that I love him so very much. I couldn't possibly get in such a fuss except that I am completely wild and crazy NUTS about him.
We joke a lot with each other but even after this first fight of ours, I feel just as good. It's one more thing that tells me that we really do belong together. Because if we can love each other so much and get through something like this and be genuinely smiling and happy towards each other afterwards, I know that when it comes time to take our vows for times that are both good and bad we won't be kidding ourselves. It will be the out and out truth.
