Quoted in BusinessWeek Article − 18 June, 2007
Alas my article for BusinessWeek came out today. OK well it isn't my article, I was just quoted in it as a user of social networking aggregators. I know what you are thinking... Geek Alert, Geek Alert. That's fair, but in my defense, I didn't seek BW out, they seeked me out.
Here is my quote:
The article's author, Rachael King, was very interested in our Red Rover software and wanted me to let her know when it's released. It's a great contact to have when we are ready to go public. For now, I will enjoy my little quote.
Here is my quote:
So far, 10,000 have signed up for the site. Among them is Tom Krieglstein, 26, whose profile contains links to his MySpace, Facebook, Flickr, and del.icio.us pages, as well as his two Typepad blogs. Krieglstein, founder of a startup educational company, Swift Kick, even imported his YouTube (GOOG) videos, including the one where he proposed to his fiancée.Short but sweet. In my post article release party, which included me eating a PB & J, I had two thoughts. The first was I wish I would have used a better tag line for Swift Kick. Something with teeth like;
founder of an educational company that links Facebook to University values...I dunno, something like that. The second thought was how I wish there was a link to our Youtube video because that would drive a lot of traffic to our engagement video. Annie and I are oddly obsessed with our hit count on that video.
