Kyle and left last Thursday for the big apple. Friday we went to the most elaborate wedding I have EVER seen on Long Island. Just wonderful! Saturday a Yankees game at 1pm with bud light, and a hotdog. Isn't life grand?! Then we went to Wicked at 7 pm at the Gershwin theater. It was FANTASTIC!! Kyle and his mom fell asleep during one act but other than that it was loved by all. I was a little suprised by how casually people dressed, even to go to a broadway production. I'm talking jean shorts casual! I think it is a little sad how nothing seems special enough to get a little dressed up for. Really is a skirt more uncomfortable than jeans? Sunday Kyle and I took his mom to the train station and then took a journey through Soho and Greenwich ( I may have butchered the spelling on that). What a fantastic weekend. The people of NY are warm, inviting, and incredibly helpful. We fell in love with the city all over again. Thank you NY for enchanting us!
