The Great Cupboard Mystery − 21 July, 2007
A week ago my business partner, Kevin, randomly mentioned to me that he was really bad at closing the cupboards in the kitchen after he opened them. In shock I replied, "Me too!" I'm horrible at leaving kitchen cupboards open especially the silverware drawer. After we talked a while about why we both do it, I made a mental note to ask my other friend Eric if he had the same issue. I thought I might be on to something.
You see we all have an entrepreneurial mind set and our personalities are similar in a lot of ways. I thought if Eric was also cupboard challenged then it might help me better understand why we do it because maybe it's tied to the fact that we are all entrepreneurs.
Last night I was out with some of my friends from the Misfits Softball team including Eric. So I asked. Sure enough Eric also has a problem with closing the cupboards in the kitchen. I think I am on to something, I just don't know what it is yet. If you have any insight into this or know an entrepreneur, let me know if they have issues with the cupboard.

I know this is creepy...but I am looking at open cupboards right now! Oh and the dishwasher is ajar! Yikes!

As a matter of fact...I remember that there was someone in my past that HATED when I would leave cupboards open! Definetly NOT an entrepreneur. Hmm...

I very very often leave cupboard doors and drawers open at home. I just don't think to close them ! I'm not an entrepreneur. And I remember having a colleague (he was a lawyer) who said he could never live with someone who doesn't close the cupboards. I thought it was ridiculous. I try to train myself...I mean neighbours could see ! But it's so hard...
