Adam's Role as a Parrot − 31 July, 2007

I was not able to attend Adam's performance at the end of the summer program, but I did get to experience some of it. In a previous entry, I noted that the family came together to build his parrot headgear. Also, he and I read through his lines a few times.

What was nice about the program was that the kids wrote and produced the thing. It was the tale of a bunch of pirates, led by their pirate captain, to some treasure. In the end, the parrot died and the parrots were sad. Adam got a great response from the crowd and sort of solidified himself as someone who can be very good in a drama program.

Afterward, there was a Q&A session in which the kids answered questions about the show. From what I understand, Adam got a heap of questions about his role. It was great for mom (Angela); also, poppa (Ted) attended.
