Jade & Mark's engagement − 4 August, 2007

Mark and I have talked of rasing kids, settling in Cebu, working side by side, building a place we can both call home.. of spending the rest of our lives together...

But it was not until this late Saturday afternoon, with a drizzle above our heads that Mark asked my hand in marriage on a lovely hilltop where we decided to get married the following year. There was no romantic song nor poem, just a straightforward "Will you marry me?". But for a man who can readily summon a speech, perhaps my fiance turning speechless must be nature's version of poetry as it wraps around the two lovebirds who have taken their next step, a step closer to home.
