The Power to Motivate − 12 September, 2007
i'm continuing to realize that no matter how much you want things done and achieved (ie. get into graphic design - knowing there are millions out there just like me), i have to keep some perspective.
i am, as of now, an artistic little snot who thinks she's the greatest designer in history (only knowing some html and photoshop skills). it's not the software that i need, is my claim. I have a constant drive to create beautiful things, and aesthetics are my life. I am depressed most by things that are ugly, and i will go out of my way to make sure there is beauty. Beauty = optimism.
I have to keep myself motivated. i have to keep reading and informing myself about the graphics world. i can't be ignorant going into a field. closedmindedness is not an option. you have to KNOW stuff. you have to impress. you have to create FROM and work FROM billions of other pieces you've seen on the web. keep going.
