Connected Education was developed in 1990. This type of education offers graduate degrees in media services and creative writing. During this time period Microsoft released Windows 3.0 operating system which included a word processor and notepad. Connected Education was conducted in text and offered very limited services online. One service that they offered was in online book ordering service. With the growth of the internet in the early 90’s distance learning programs started to develop.
