Concert in Munich − 16 November, 2007
Beer fiesta !
Second time in Munich for me, with the orchestra of Strasborug.
We play tonight :
Metaboles, by Dutilleux
Piano Concerto n5, by Beethoven, with the beautiful Helene Grimaud

Quiet a pleasure to work with this beautiful women. And she even can play piano very well !!!!
And still an incredibly beautiful concert Hall. The audience was full, and Helene had a great success !
Strange feelling during the second part when we played Rhapsodie Espagnole and La Valse, by Ravel.
After the rhapsodie, the public started to applause a long time, the Conductor came two times to "salute".
And just before we played the last piece of the concert, half of the audience started to live the concert hall (3600 seats !) !!
Strange feeling in the orchestra on stage ! Marc Albrecht, our conductor was not very happy.
We tried to play the last piece, la Valse, with still a good mood, and the rest of the audience gave us a very good ovation ! But we still had a strange feeling about this suddent... loss of the audience !
Next morning, we learned that the Metro drivers in Munich was on strike, and people had to live very early the concert to catch the last metro to go back home ! Relief !
Next morning, new trip, now we go to Wien, in Austria.
