Browns clinch winning season - Tribune Chronicle − 18 December, 2007
At the beginning of the football season, I jokingly asserted to my brother that the Browns would win half of their games this year. This -- to him, and most -- seemed laughable at the time. The browns were coming off a terrible season in 2006. And their drafts in the off-season seemed hopeful, but green. 14 games later, they have a 9-5 record. They will win more than half their games in 2007. And they might even make the playoffs. All this without having to rely too heavily on rookie talent.
Cleveland. The little city that could. I miss it.

I'm not the wagering type. Its also a terrible idea to bet on games where care about the outcome regardless of you line. There's too much grief in Cleveland sports to have also worry about beating the spread.
