When my husband and I first started to date, he tried to impress me with the little spanish he knew. He took me out to a Mexican restaurant and kept telling me I was "solamente". I just ignored him, figuring he didn't know what he was saying. Also, in front of his buddies he would say his private was "en fuego". After a while I finally pulled him aside and told him that he might need to see a doctor about his private being "on fire" and I couldn't figure out why he kept telling me I was "only". He said he thougt "solamente" meant good looking, and he never really told me what he thought "en fuego" meant.
