Love − 17 November, 2001

I met Marja tonight. Well, not really. I met her a few weeks earlier at an improv show that a bunch of us went to. It was terrible; the group was awful!

But tonight is the first time I listened to her, heard her as an individual standing out from everyone else in the universe. She offered me water; I accepted. I told her about meteors and tried to make her laugh by picking on her parallel parking. I noticed the hedgehog in the back seat fo her car. We ate pizza.

Jenni got her to sell tickets for the TILT show and I included her in the program. I met her after the show and tried so hard to impress her with my knowledge of Finland and the Finnish language. I knew there was a reason I went to da Tech.

I didn't ask for her number. But I wanted to.
