I LOVE "THE WEST WING."
There's no show on television so beautifully filmed, so human, so compassionate, so smart, and so well-acted, week in and week out.
It's also just about the best school on story structure, dialogue, and pacing that I've ever had the pleasure of attending. It's the only thing I TIVO (or it will be, once Friends is over... and Friends is ready to be over, to be sure.) It's also the only *anything* I know I will buy the complete series of DVDs, as soon as each volume is released, damn the expense. I already have the first season.
Don't be afraid that you're coming in late. Get swept up -- you'll catch on.
