Convictions − 1 January, 2008
I have never made a New Year's resolution before, but I've decided to make one this year. I'm going to give up drinking. It's gotten to the point that even Samantha's little sister isn't surprised when I'm drunk. I've been looking at myself from an outside perspective, and I don't like what I see.

Good luck, Josh. Best thing is to focus on something during 'idle' time -- it's how I gave up smoking. Unfortunately, now I've got 50 hobbies and not enough time for any of them...

Good luck, Josh! I'm beginning to think my niece needs an intervention. Everybody in my family keeps saying "at least she's not a drunk" as I am trying to recoup from her alcoholic breath. Interesting what people can make themselves believe, especially when my hubby and I have never seen her NOT inebriated. She turns 20 in August. Craziness.
