Good to Great - 7 − 21 January, 2008
My efforts are now bearing fruits. Now the accuracy level is up there in the range of 80-85% in Sentence Correction and Critical Reasoning. I still believe that there is possibility to move my accuracy level upto 90%. At least thats what I should aim to.
Now the focus is on Reading Comprehension and the mantra is Read Slow. Read Slow and Read Slow. But I am one of those guys who used to be proud of 720 WPM speed. But I need to slow down. Also, I am worried about repeating these performance in real GMAT. A couple of years back, my overconfidence marred my score in CAT. I do not want this to happen again. I need to be constant. Constant in all situations.
Meanwhile, my book love is still unfettered. Bought two books on Sunday. Narcissus and Goldmund by Hermann Hesse and The Road Less Traveled by M. Scott Peck. I am not very fond of M. Scott Peck as person, as he himself never believed in what he preached. But I did not buy this book for the reason that Peck is great human being, but for the reason that he has produced a master piece.
